3 Steakhouses You Have to Try in Anaheim

Every year, Anaheim is the most popular city in Orange County for tourists from all over and, of course, that’s no mystery! Home to the Happiest Place on Earth, thousands of people come to visit each and every year. That being said, Disney is far from the only attraction in town and, of course, far from the only place to grab a bite. Especially if a great steak is what you’re after, Anaheim certainly steps up to the plate. Here are 3 steakhouses in Anaheim that you have to try.

Ruth’s Chris Steak House

Disney princesses and animated icons aren’t the only legends to be found in Anaheim. Ruth Fertel, known as the First Lady of Steak, also leaves her mark on the world and in the city. Founding her first steakhouse in 1965 against all legal and social norms, her legacy of perfect steak, warm hospitality, and good times lives on in this restaurant.

Mouth-watering selections of New York Strip, Ribeye, and Porterhouse and waiting to be ordered off the legendary menu, with specialty cuts like Lamb Chops and the Tomahawk Ribeye looking to tempt the right guest. Enjoy a special glass of seasonal wine with your steak, or any of the carefully crafted cocktails.

Check out their website here.

Anaheim Fleming’s

For a tried-and-true classic, Fleming’s Anaheim location is one choice you can never go wrong with. Perfect for special occasions and events, the experience, hospitality, and delicious food will all make for a satisfying and memorable evening. If you prefer the comfort and safety of your own home, Fleming’s also offers curbside pickup.

Start your meal off with amazing starters such as the Seared Pork Belly or the Ahi Tuna Poke Stack, make the night special with a specialty cut like the Prime Dry-Aged Ribeye, and seal the deal with incredible desserts like the iconic Chocolate Lava Cake. Children’s options and a gluten-free menu are also available!

Craft by Smoke and Fire

Traditional steakhouses are never the wrong choice, but it can be healthy to shake things up a bit every now and then. Craft by Smoke and Fire is the perfect way to do so. They say it themselves: “We don’t just feed the body; we focus on the soul.”

For the devoted steak purists, the impressive menu features a classic Porterhouse, Tomahawk, and New York Steak—certainly fantastic options. For those who want to paint outside the lines a little bit, you can enjoy some delicious Smoked Prime Pastrami or a New Zealand Rack of Lamb among other mouthwatering proteins. The menu stretches much further too so, one way or another, everyone’s going home happy.

These are our favorite spots to enjoy some great steak in the city, but Anaheim certainly has more than plenty to offer. Did we miss your favorite steakhouse? Reach out and let us know!

5 Attractions To See When Visiting Anaheim

Sunny Anaheim is always such a pleasure to visit, and it’s no wonder that it’s the biggest city for tourism in all of Orange County. The Disneyland Resort is, of course, largely responsible for the enormous number of visitors, but it is also far from being the only attraction to enjoy in the area! Whether you need a break from the Happiest Place on Earth, or the resort just isn’t really your speed, here are 5 non-Disney attractions we love to visit while in Anaheim.

Knott’s Berry Farm

Disney might take up all of the headlines, but we need to put some respect on California’s original theme park. Knott’s Berry Farm is a park that blossomed out of a humble berry farm, growing into a family theme park beloved by locals and visitors alike.

Enjoy the regular park attractions like rollercoasters and stage shows, and also the best park food you’ll ever have in your life. Fried chicken dinners, boysenberry treats, and some drinks your tastebuds will be grateful to experience. The park is great for the whole family!

Oak Canyon Nature Center

Amusement parks are a great time for everyone, but every once in a while we all need to touch some grass and get in touch with nature. Luckily, Anaheim has Oak Canyon Nature Center.

You’ll find this 58-acre natural park in Anaheim Hills, where you’ll be able to explore the multiple canyons, the miles of hiking trails, and all of the native wildlife. The John J. Collier Interpretive Center is also on site, a small museum full of regional natural history exhibits. Oak Canyon Nature Center is a perfect place to visit for anyone who needs a day full of fresh air.

Honda Center

There’s a sports lover in just about every family, and in Anaheim, the Honda Center is the place to be. Especially, of course, if your sports lover is particularly a hockey lover.

Home of the Anaheim Ducks, the sports center is a favorite for ice lovers all season long. Of course, as any stadium, events aren’t limited to hockey, either. Catch concerts, the Globetrotters, UFC events, and, being this close to the Happiest Place on Earth, Disney on Ice!

City National Grove

If you’re someone that’s always in the food for something new, then you’ll want to keep an eye on City National Grove of Anaheim. It’s a world-class indoor live-music venue that hosts artists, bands, and so much more.

This venue is a great place to catch plenty of musicians and bands, musical theatre, comedians, plays, and other events that beckon for the stage. Whether you’re looking for something sophisticated and high-brow, or something fun for the whole family, keep an eye on the events to find something perfect for you!

Muzeo Museum and Cultural Center

Finally, there’s no way we’d leave museum lovers out of this. The Muzeo Museum and Cultural Center, located within the historic downtown Carnegie Library, is a cultural powerhouse that walks visitors through the history and culture of Anaheim. Art from throughout the region rotates through the galleries, offering something amazing for every visit.

Certainly, with so much cultural diversity in Anaheim, this list is far from exhaustive. These are some of our favorite attractions to visit whenever we’re around, did we miss yours? Let us know!
